Magic In A Box
Decorating the tree tonight.
It always amazes me how much magic can be found in a couple of little old cardboard boxes.

You haven't decorated your tree yet? Geezzzzzzz........both of mine have been up since November 25th! That's the good thing about artificial......of course, if I wanted to get rid of hubby, I'd put up a real one (or two, or six)! But, I'm not that cruel, yet.
Yep, definite lack of social skills. Two trees? Well exscuuuuse me! But we happen to be into real (so far anyway, although the point is starting to become hotly contested) trees around here. Be nice now or Santa will be bringing you a lump of coal and you wouldn't want that! :D
We put up our tree -artificial of course- on December 8th, the day we conmemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. We also have a Nativity scene in our fireplace which comes in useful - remember it's Summer here.
We are in the "fake camp" as well - pre-lit to boot! Goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Will come down shortly after New Year's Day. I love decorating the house -but I'm also equally glad when everything goes back to the way it should be.

These ornaments look good.
