Thought For The Day
Give A Person A Fish And You Feed Them For A Day, Teach A Person To Use The Internet And They Won't Bother You For Weeks.
True enough but ... how much is lost too. I mean I don't understand how I ever managed to do my work before the internet but we have lost, the beauty, the magic of letter writing, the excitement of receiving a letter and of course the greatest of losses ... no written record will be left for others to find. No handwritten record of letters between lovers, brothers, friends, family. We now receive messages and longish electronic missives which are later deleted. Not to mention the loss of language. But hey! I can't do without my pooter and the internet either, sooo , in spite of the dangers, the virtual personas, the loss of the art of 'goodspeak'...we will snap at anybody who tries to mess with our PC - our 'personal' computer ... sigh...

How true!!
Ain't it the truth?!
Perhaps that explains how I can spend so many hours on this computer. And that was even before I started blogging!
