I don't know...I actually feel bad for the caller. He was just doing his job -- he does not deserve to be treated like that. We can blame the company, but not the individual.

Well, sure, if you want to look at that way. But I stil think its funny.

There was an old Jerry Seinfeld one I always use to love too. Nowhere near as nasty as this but... He tells the caller that he is busy right now, asks if he can call him back later and asks for his home phone number. The next thing you hear is "What? You don't like getting calls at home? Well, neither do I!". Slam...

Okay, maybe I'm just not nice enough.

Its a major pain too when they call night after night...right when we're about to have our supper.

After all, those people CHOOSE those jobs...and usually don't keep them long.

I thought it was funny--but then, I got a call from an MCI salesman, years ago, and I was up a stepstool, cleaning in the pantry, and didn't want to get down, to hang up the phone--talked to that boy for 45 minutes, and I'd guess it was the best part of his week.
I think, by the end, he had me on speaker phone...lots of giggling, and just chatting about anything.

but still.....I liked that one.
You ever heard of Roy D Mercer?
Radio host out of Tx...calls people and plays pranks like this for fun, part of his radio show--business people. Funninest one I ever heard, he called an Army recruiter...
thanks for the laugh, d
